About Eden Humphries

Thanks for visiting my Portfolio.

Time and time again, I've been asked what made me decide to become a designer. To answer that question, it all began when I was in kindergarten. As a child, I always had a passion for art. Once my older sister taught me the basics of drawing people as more than simply stick figures, I pounded on my craft through the years using a wide variety of mediums up until the age of 17. As a junior in high school, I felt it was really time for me to buckle down and figure out what I was going to do with my life upon graduation.

Ultimately, I knew I wanted to start a career that would allow me to use this artistic talent I had worked so long develop, and continue to perfect. I also knew I wanted to be part of the corporate world, as opposed to trying my hand at being a starving artist. After reviewing the possibilities, I landed on becoming a Graphic Designer. For quite some time, it had been a strong interest to use computer software to create artwork. What started as an interest, led to an immense love of all things design. It also afforded me to develop the skills to use professional programs to do what I love most. Create.

In conclusion, I sincerely thank the faculty and staff at Robert Morris University Illinois. They encouraged my creativity, gave me one on one assistance, and continuously challenged me to attain my fullest potential, as a student and artist. As a Graphic Designer, I feel privileged to be part of the elite group of unseen men and women who collectively produce visual messages that shape the society we live in.

We are Creatives. We are powerful.
